LDAP users, the wait is over! LDAP and Active Directory are now part of the ProcessMaker Open Source Business Process Management suite. We’ve received a ton of requests for LDAP, and we’re so glad to finally offer this neat feature to the ProcessMaker Community in our latest version v.1.2-2261.
The addition of LDAP to ProcessMaker marks a significant new release, and an important milestone on the ProcessMaker roadmap (we’ve moved from version 1.1 to 1.2).
Extremely useful for enterprise users, LDAP seamlessly joins ProcessMaker with your organization’s existing user accounts by authenticating existing users from an external server (LDAP, Active Directory, or other), greatly increasing flexibility and ease of user management in ProcessMaker.
In addition to LDAP, release 1.2-2261 offers new features including an advanced case search module and improvements to the user security policy regarding password requirements. Admins can also set a default language, delete user groups without causing task assignment issues, and save the date that emails are sent. Additionally, release 1.2-2261 corrects a number of bugs.
We recommend that all current ProcessMaker users upgrade to this release. You can download 1.2-2261 or the necessary patches from Sourceforge:
